About me

Solid software for regulated processes

I am a Rome-based Java Tech Lead and analyst. Since 2004 I have worked as an IT consultant for large companies and public bodies, covering the whole software lifecycle: from gathering requirements with the client to design, development and production release.

Since 2019 I have been consulting at Cedacri (ION Group) on GIANOS®, the anti-money laundering platform used by Italian banks and insurers. I am a technical reference for estimates, analysis, migrations and upgrades of the platform, I coordinate developers and test teams, and I take part in technical interviews for new hires.

Previously I was technical lead of the AXA MPS Home Insurance platform, designed online services such as Sara Assicurazioni's quick quote and INPS maternity benefit applications, and integrated systems across organizations such as ANIA and ACI. I have also taught J2EE and SQL courses.

In my work I use generative AI tools, in particular Anthropic's Claude and Claude Code, to speed up analysis, documentation and development, while keeping human control and review over every decision.
